Electric Scooters are without a doubt one of the most sustainable and convenient ways to travel.  It allows you to easily wade your way through traffic and get you to your destination with the least possible disturbance. With that said we can assume that there are lots of benefits in owning an electric scooter. Battery Management

The Battery is one of the most important parts of an electric scooter to be well maintained and taken care of. Its warranty period is usually shorter than the warranty period of the scooter.

  • Make sure you keep your battery at the least 10 % charged at all times. Charging regularly can help prolong the battery’s life. You can charge your electric scooter straight after a short ride. 
  • If you had a long ride, give it about 30 minutes to cool down and then charge it. Do not leave your electric scooter with a significantly discharged battery for a few hours. Charge it promptly. 
  • Don’t use other chargers, only use the original.
  • Keep the battery dry.

  • Leaving your electric scooter with a significantly discharged battery.

  • Change worn out tires.

  • Leaving it dirty to accumulate rust.
  • Exceed max tire pressure allowed by the manufacturer.
  • Keep use of worn out tires.
  • Riding with faulty brakes.

  • Drive on flat ground like asphalt, paths, sidewalks, etc.
  • Follow regular road safety rules.
  • Wear a helmet and safety gear.
  • Be alert.

  • Driving off-road or on uneven terrain. Make sure your electric scooter is designed for that.
  • Using your scooter to perform stunts.
  • Riding with a passenger.
  • Using your phone while driving.
  • Driving intoxicated or under the influence.
